RESORT:
Triora, Pigna, Valle Argentina; Province of Imperia LENGTH:
6 days, 5 nights
PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival in the afternoon in Triora with own means and accommodation at Colomba d’Oro 2-star hotel; at about 6.30 welcome aperitif with introduction to the programme and distribution of material, dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

2nd day: breakfast, at 9 meeting with the guide and beginning guided hike up to Via Alpina from Triora (700 m) to Colla Melosa (1540 m) with packed lunch along the way; arrival by 4 p.m. at Colle Melosa, accommodation at Allavena Refuge, dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day: breakfast at the refuge; at 9, departure guided hike on a loop along Via Alpina (Colla Melosa – Monte Toraggio – Colle Melosa) with packed lunch; return to Allavena Refuge by 4.30 p.m., dinner and overnight stay.

4th day: breakfast, at 9 departure guided hike to visit Marta’s fortifications and the forest of Gerbonte with packed lunch; in the afternoon descent to Realdo with visit to the village and to the archaeological site of Arma di Gra di Marmo (marble, n.d.T.) or cave of slate, arrival in Verdeggia late in the afternoon, accommodation at a refuge in the village, dinner at a restaurant’s and overnight stay in the refuge.

5th day: breakfast at the refuge, at 9 departure guided hike Realdo-Triora, arrival in Triora by 12.30 and lunch at Colomba d’Oro’s 2-star hotel; in the afternoon guided tour to the village and to the Witchcraft Museum, see-you-soon dinner with typical products and overnight stay in hotel.

6th day: breakfast, departure.
